Return an application (Credit Officer)

  1. On the summary, select Return for correction. It is available while the status is SUBMITTED, RESUBMITTED or UNDER_REVIEW.
  2. Tick one or more Reasons.
  3. If you ticked Other correction required, explain in Detail.
  4. Select Return. You see Assessment returned for correction.

Return reasons:

Reason
Required document missing
Document invalid or unreadable
Applicant details incomplete or incorrect
Land or farm details incomplete or incorrect
Crop or allied activity details incomplete or incorrect
Loan request details incomplete or incorrect
Financial or repayment details incomplete or incorrect
Information or evidence mismatch
Other correction required (Detail required)

The submitted revision itself is not modified. The status becomes RETURNED, and the summary shows Returned for correction on {date} with the reasons.

Return before recommending

Once a Credit Officer recommendation is recorded, the application cannot be returned: This assessment has an adjudicated Credit Officer recommendation and cannot be returned.

Correct and resubmit (Credit Assistant)

  1. Open the returned application and read the reasons in the Returned for correction banner.
  2. Select Start correction. A new revision opens and the wizard starts.
  3. Fix what was asked, in the farmer's profile and the wizard steps.
  4. Re-request any waivers you still need: waivers do not carry forward.
  5. On Review and submit, submit again.
What happens Detail
New revision Revision number + 1, linked to the returned one. Shown as DRAFT while being edited
Steps Journey steps start again, checked against the current data
Document requirements Checked afresh. Earlier waivers no longer apply
Application ID Unchanged
On resubmission Status becomes RESUBMITTED

Who can start a correction

By default, only the Credit Assistant (and Bank Admin) roles can start a correction. A Credit Officer returns the application but does not edit it.
