Who does what¶
SaakhSetu separates duties so that no single person can both prepare and approve the same loan. Your bank may rename these roles or create its own, but the responsibilities stay the same.
| Role | Main responsibility | Guide |
|---|---|---|
| Bank Admin | Sets up and governs the bank's workspace. Holds every permission | Module 1 |
| Organization Admin | Manages branches, staff and assessment assignment, without changing bank-wide rules | Module 1 |
| Credit Assistant | Onboards farmers, prepares loan assessments, captures consent and submits | Modules 2 and 3 |
| Credit Officer | Reviews submitted assessments, generates the Yogyank score, evaluates policy and records a recommendation | Module 3 |
| Sanctioning Authority | Records the bank's own sanction or decline decision | Module 3 |
| Credit Operations | Links each sanctioned facility to its loan account in the Core Banking System (CBS) | Module 3 |
| Analyst / Read-only User | Views information without changing it | All modules |
A recommendation is never a sanction
A Credit Officer's recommendation and the bank's sanction are separate actions, held by different people. SaakhSetu blocks the person who recommended a loan from also sanctioning it.
